Pre Engineered Metal Building Erector:  Second and Third Year Apprentice

Work Location: Western United States

Wage:  TBD Depending on experience

Workshift:  Monday - Friday with possible weekends

​

Job Description:  Erect pre-engineered steel buildings, metal cladding and miscellaneous steel on various projects, must have Journeyperson or apprenticeship iron worker ticket from a recognized training authority, rigging experience, experience with a variety of construction equipment and tools, ability to work above ground 20' or higher, must possess a current Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform ticket transfer, ability to work under minimal supervision, capable to meet construction deadlines, able to follow direction from foreman, attend onsite safety meetings, able to work in a team environment, ensure onsite safety standards are met, and ability to work efficiently.

Must have experience and knowledge with construction and erection of pre-engineered metal buildings and knowledge of general construction process from start to finish.  

Minimum 2-3 years related experience in pre-engineered metal buildings

​

Addition requirements:  

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work outdoors 

  • Ability to lift up to minimum 50 lbs.

  • Position steel units, align holes and insert bolts while checking alignments and joining steel connections

  • Own personal protection equipment and hand tools

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Have a valid drivers license

  • Clean criminal record
